Before I tell you the purpose of my poll, if you're looking for the results, then goto the discussion/forum part of this poll (all [allowed] essay results will be there). So the purpose of this poll is to, primarily, gain insight into mainstream (as in the average man) philosophical thought, provoke questions, provoke questions about yourself, raise your intrapersonal consciousness, heighten your interest in philosophy and to spawn debate. So have fun and remember try to answer and follow as many of the instructions as possible, also if I cross the 200 poll-taker mark I will release the excel document (without the pseudonym's, of course). One more thing, if there are factual, grammatical or syntaxial errors please point them out in the feedback and bear in mind I constructed this poll from 9:00pm to 3:00am.
Where would you say your religious affiliation, or lack thereof, lies? Please specify the branch/sect you identify closest with (e.g. Christian - Anglicanism or Agnostic - Ignosticism). Justify your beliefs.
What school of ethics would you identify closest with (e.g. Utilitarianism, Ethical Relativism or Ethical Objectivism) or if you adhere to your religion's moral/ethical code just state it (e.g. Christianity - Ten Commandments and Islam - Sharia?
