Would you hire a babysitter who smokes?

If a babysitter is experienced, in her mid to late teens, good with kids, well recommended by a friend or co-worker, and has her own car to drive herself over or pick up the kids; would you hire a babysitter if you knew she was a smoker?

Would you still hire a babysitter if she was a smoker? If so would you:

a) let her smoke inside the house so she could have better supervision of the children ?

b) ask her to not smoke in the house, but allow her to smoke outside the house if she has to?

c) hire her on the condition that she not smoke at all while babysitting, either inside or outside?

d) would you not hire a babysitter who smoked, even if she agreed to not smoke while babysitting?

If you would hire a babysitter who smoked, would you care how much she smoked?

a) yes, I wouldnt want to hire her if she smokes more than half a pack a day

b) yes, but as long as its only about a pack a day thats ok

c) yes, but I might be worried if she chain smoked more than two packs a day

d) no, why would I care how much she smokes?

if you hired a babysitter who was a smoker, would it make a difference how old your children were?

a) Yes, I wouldnt want a smoking baby sitter to be around infants

a) I'd let it slide and not say anything, as long as she was a good baby sitter

b) I'd let it slide and not say anything the first time, but if it was regular I might say something later

If you hired a babysitter who smoked, and they kids really liked her, would you consider hiring her again if she did a good job or would you try looking for a non smoking babysitter?

a) absolutely, as long as the kids like her thats all that matters

b) No way, I wouldnt hire a smoking baby sitter unless it was a last resort

c) Maybe, it depends on if I thought she did the best job overall

When considering whether to hire a teenage girl who smokes as a babysitter, does it matter how attractive she is when considering any of the issues previously raised?

a) Somewhat, everyone knows cute girls can get away with more as babysitters, but Id have to draw the line somewhere

b) No, I dont care how attractive the baby sitter is

c) Of course it matters, if shes really attractive she can definitely get away with alot more than usual, like smoking in the house, etc

If the babysitter was cute and she flirted with you in a playful manner when asking if she can smoke, how would you react?

a) I'd probably say yes, I have a weakness for cute girls flirting with me

b) No way, Id be concerned about her flirting with me and might not want to rehire her

c) Id try to ignore it as best as I could

d) I would definitely say yes and play along and flirt back with her, who knows where it might go
