How much government is too much?

Let's say there were three buttons on your desk in front of you, and you had to choose one of them. The first button would keep the US government exactly as it is now. The second button would immediately and permanently reduce the US government in size to something like what Ron Paul envisions. That is to say, the US government can do nothing that is not explicitly authorized in the US Constitution. The third button would immediately and permanently end the US government altogether. Which button would you push?
