US Costitution: 1st Amendment

FREEDOM OF RELIGION: "Congress shall make no laws respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;..." Question 1: Do you believe that members of a religious establishment, (Christian, Jewish, Islamic, Buddhist, Hindu, Etc.) has the Constitutional Right to worship, pray, promote, setup religious displays, (such as a Nativity Scene, Menorah, etc) on public land?

Religion, Question 2: Do you believe that a religious establishment has the right to establish a house of worship, (such as a Mosque) anywhere space is available?

Religion, Question 3: Do you believe that a person has the Constitutional right to freely exercise his/her religious beliefs at a public educational institution?

FREEDOM OF SPEECH, PRESS, (ELECTRONIC MEDIA); 1st Amendment, (Cont). "...or abridging the freedom of speech,or of the press;..." Speech, Press, Question 1: Do you believe that so-called "Political Correctness" is a covert method of censorship, intended to stifle free speech and certain points of view?

Speech, Press, Question 2: Do you believe that the use of profanity and the presentation of pornography, even though it may be offencive and in poor taste is protected under the 1st Amendment?

Speech, Press, Question3: Do you believe that News Media, such as MSNBC and Fox News should be protected from harrassment and intimidation by groups who oppose their particular viewpoints?

PEACEABLY ASSEMBLE, REDRESS GRIEVENCES: 1st Amendment, (Cont). "...or the right of the people peaceably to assemble and petition the Government for a redress of grievances." Assemble, Question 1: Should an organization demostrating at a political convention be required to obtain a permit from a city, police or other agency?

Assemble, Question 2: Special Interest groups, such as AARP, NRA, and the NAACP send represetitives known as "lobbyist" to Congress to discuss issues pertinent to their special interest. Should these lobbyest be registered and made a matter of public record?
