Groin strike! Excess force?

Most people would agree that in a life or death situation its acceptable to use force against another person. This force must however be proportionate to the situation. The person must feel that they are justified in using this amount of force to ensure his own safety or the greater good.

In which of the following scenarios do you believe excessive or acceptable force was used?

7-year-old Mark is riding the school bus when a bully his age grabs him by the neck. Fearing that he is in danger, Mark immediately grabs the bully's balls in his right hand. Squeezing them as tightly as he can, Mark twists and pulls and the bully lets go of him. The bully's testis are swollen and tender for he next three days. He never bothers Mark again.

8-year-old Madison is playing with her toys when he 10-year-old brother decides to tease her by take her stuff. Knowing she is not strong enough to take her stuff back by force, she kicks him in the nuts full-force. He spends the next ten minutes on the floor crying.

9-year-old first Dan black belt Isaac's karate instructor is ill. The class is being lead by the Senei's son Michael, a 16-year-old third Dan black belt. When Michael suspects that Isaac is not wearing his mandatory groin guard, Michael decides to make an example of him. During a sparing exercise, Michael intentionally kicks Isaac in the groin. Isaac later vomits.
