In 1980, 14.1% of Americans were Obese. And in 1997, 19.4% of Americans were obese. That increased to 26.6% in 2007, and then to 35.7% in 2010. Why do you think obesity increased so much in the past 10 years?

One state in the American South had an obesity rate under 28% in 2011 (Florida, 26%) In 2000, only Mississippi had obesity rates over 25%. Why such a dramatic increase in the South?
Fat Concentrated Traditional Diet

Healthy Foods becoming less available
Our neighbors to the north (Canada) had obesity rates of 24% in 2011. Compared to Americas 34%. Why such a huge difference?
Theyre not hard headed about obesity, like Americans are
