Hello, my name is Phil. This poll asks do you feel white players can compete effectively in a predominately black league. Are they aggressive enough? Can they jump? Have they gotten a bad rap? Finally, one last question about one of the players. Christian Laettner, who played at Duke is considered to be the best college basketball player ever. So good that he had his jersey number 32 retired. Some say he was the Michael Jordan of college basketball and many considered him to be the next great white hope of the NBA. However, when he turned pro, he proved himself to be a very solid scorer and rebounder but didn't live up to the great white hope many had envisioned and hoped for. Do you feel in this aspect he was a major disappointment? Just another great white hope?
