Simulation Hypothesis

The universe as a computer, a hologram, or a computer simulation or virtual reality, was 1st proposed by German civil engineer and inventor Konrad Zuse in '69, and taken up subsequently by Edward Fredkin and Michael Talbot in the '90s, and Nick Bostrum, Seth Lloyd, David Charles, Jim Elvidge, Richard Terrile, etc. in this century. The Matrix movey trilogy is based on a similar idea. And I believe such simulations should certainly be outlawed because of strong ethical objections
Do you believe we are living in a computer simulation?

maybe a simulated universe, but not a simulated environment
maybe a simulated environment but not a simulated universe

Will it ever be possible for an entire universe to be simulated in a computer?
certainly

maybe
probably not
no
Considering the ethical issues, do you believe such simulations should be outlawed if they ever come to the point of being done?

If we are in a simulation who would probably be the programmer, ers?
