Dropped down a Trapdoor for failing me: Be my doomed incompetent underling!

I have always wished I could be a super villain so that when any of my bumbling underlings fail me, I could dump them down a trapdoor. I don't know if this came from watching cartoons in the 80's, but I always thought it would be so cool to just make someone disappear and plunge down into a pit of something unpleasant, like slime or yucky water, whenever I pushed a button. Hell, I would probably hire really incompetent underlings, just so I could give them the trapdoor treatment! Or I would give them impossible tasks, just so they would fail and be forced to take the plunge! If you ever wanted to dumped down a trapdoor, maybe you can help me fulfill my childhood dream with this poll!

it can be any of these, you never know what you are going to fall into because I change whats at the bottom of the trapdoors every so often to keep you on your toes.

You have just horribly botched a task I have given you. I commanded you to steal a special jewel, but you completely failed and you have come back empty handed. I summon you to my throne room to give me a full report. You know I have a trapdoor in front of my throne, and there are two guards at the door waiting in case you try to escape my wrath. "I notice you failed to bring me my Jewel. " I say to you, looking stern. "Explain yourself." How do you explain yourself?
After you explain yourself I don't look pleased. Now I am ready to berate you, call you a fool, imbecile etc. -what do I say to insult you for failing me?
After I finish insulting you I say "well..perhaps a little taste of my trapdoor will teach you a lesson." with an evil smile. "Had you been successful I may have given you a raise-but instead, I think I'll give you a drop!" I say and laugh evily. Now you know I love a good grovel. Perhaps if you beg my forgiveness and grovel before me, I will spare you the trapdoor. How do you grovel?
I've heard enough. "That's enough you sniveling fool!! I have had it with your pathetic begging and miserable excuses!" -I start moving my finger toward the trapdoor button. "You leave me no choice." You look terrified, you want to move off the trapdoor-but you know the guards will destroy you if you try.
