kissing and nudity in public middle and high school plays

With all of youth attempting to get into the entertainment industry and the cultural and communication benefits of an advanced acting and drama class, my question is whether school plays and events should give the students more actual exposure and training in real acting situations. There are almost no legitimate feature productions that do not involve nudity and kissing. Even American "G" rated movies have kissing in them. Therefore this poll seeks to determine whether school age children should be required to participate in drama or acting class, and whether those children should be required to perform scenes involving kissing and nudity. This is NOT a sexual poll and, for this poll, the only children being considered are over the age of 12 years. Please take the poll seriously, as I plan to present the results to school boards around the county.

Yes - but, assuming with full cooperation and attendance, every student should be able to pass the class
No - The student should be able fail drama and still advance in grade or graduate. (Since this option makes the drama class optional by allowing lack of attendance or participation, if you choose this option please view the results.)
If the class requires kissing or nudity, should the students be required to participate at the direction of the instructor ?
Yes - Drama is required and kissing and nudity are an integral part of modern entertainment
No - the student should be able to determine what level of participation they choose to partake. (Since this would make all coursework in drama optional, if you choose this option please view the results.)
Kissing - If the drama performance requires kissing, should the students be required to kiss classmates as part of the instruction ?
Yes - Kissing is not completely instinctive and entertainment kissing must be taught and practiced.
No - Students should be able to decline participation in class instruction involving kissing. (Go to the questions regarding nudity)
Kissing - If the drama presentation requires kissing of a same sex person, should the students be required to kiss a same sex classmate as part of the instruction ?
Yes - Lesbian and Gay scenes are becoming more and more common even in main stream productions and all actors need to be versatile and able to perform any scene.
No - The sexual orientation of the student should be honored and they should not be required to kiss a same sex classmate.
Kissing - If the drama presentation required the kissing of an adult, such as the character's parent or grandparent, should the students be required to kiss an adult instructor, student teacher, or volunteer ?
Yes - children in all forms of entertainment kiss adults

Kissing - If the drama presentation requires the kissing of an adult, should the students be required to kiss the instructor, student teacher, or volunteer during lessons and tryouts ?
Yes - The adult will assist the student in how to properly perform the scene and will need to select the best student for the production.

Kissing - Should the students be able to perform "stage kisses?" A stage kiss is a fake kiss in which the actor will kiss their hand or simply hold their face close to a person with one having their back to the audience.

Yes - The students should be chosen based on what would work best for the performance and cultural and diverse education.
No - The students should be chosen based on acting ability and performance.
Kissing - Should gender be part of the selection process. For example could a modern rendition of Romeo and Juliet be performed by two male or two female students?
No - Gender should not play a role and transgender students should be able to play any role the instructor deems they are qualified, even if this means kissing other students of the same biological gender.
Yes - Students should play traditional roles and same gender kissing should be avoided
Kissing - Should kissing be limited in style?
No - The kissing, both in lessons and performance should be at the discretion of the instructor and curriculum and include a full range of kissing from closed mouth kisses to full extended open mouth "french" kissing.

Yes - Oral hygiene should be taught and ensured for the comfort and safety of the students. (i.e. brush teeth and use mouthwash and peroxide)

Nudity - If the drama performance requires nudity, should the student be required to undress for the performance?
Yes - If the scene requires a nude actor, then a clothed actor would not fill the role
