1)Only spank her for serious offences but when you do spank her it must be very hard so she knows that she has been a bad girl and will be severely punished.
2)She should be spanked regularly and very often but the intensity of her spankings should be proportional to the severity of her offence.
3)She should be spanked very severely every single time she does something wrong and if she does not cry then it is not a proper spanking.

I voted for 1) because if you spank her too often the spanking loses its effect.
I voted for 2) because suddenly threatening severe spankings could shock/traumatize her. This way she learns how severity of punishment fits the crime and she will be more likely to accept a severe spanking when she is bad.
I voted for 3) to make sure she is disciplined, otherwise she will push the envelope to see what she can get away with.
