Views about men in Kilts.

Curious to know what you think about men wearing a kilt.
Do you think the Kilt is a acceptable piece of clothing for a man or boy to wear. [The kilt is a knee-length garment with pleats at the rear, originating in the traditional dress of men and boys in the Scottish Highlands of the 16th century. Since the 19th century it has become associated with the wider culture of Scotland in general, or with Celtic (and more specifically Gaelic) heritage even more broadly. It is most often made of woollen cloth in a tartan pattern. Although the kilt is most often worn on formal occasions and at Highland games and sports events, it has also been adapted as an item of fashionable informal male clothing in recent years, returning to its roots as an everyday garment.]
Yes
Men should not be wearing anything which looks like a skirt. Men who do are no real men, but....
Only during Scottish Games and formal events like weddings and such.
no comment as I am not sure.
No
Ladies: if your man or bf was to wear a kilt outside of a formal event would you:
Tell him to change into something more like pants or shorts.
Smile and let the comments begin.
Ignore his kilt and go on with your day.
Break up or divorce him.
I am not sure...
Complement his choice.
Run screaming from the room.
I am a man and this question is not for me.
Men, regardless of your heritage do you think a kilt can be a addition to your wardrobe?
No way.
A Kilt is not something I would NOT wear, but I think that each man can make up his own mind.
A kilt is a statement of a man's sexuality. Wearing a kilt is a sign that the wearer is a homosexual.
I think a man wearing a kilt is still a man and has nothing to do with his sexuality.
I am a woman.
Men: would you be willing to wear a kilt to a wedding or other formal event if the host asked you to?
Not a chance in hell would I wear one.
I am not sure, it would really depend.
I am a woman.
Since I was asked, yes I would.
Of course, if the host and others were as well.
Ladies: If a man was wearing a kilt in a non-formal event would you comment to him about the choice?
I am shy and would just giggle or say nothing.
I would think twice about his sexuality.
I be open minded and think about it, but say nothing.
I would stop him and talk to him.
I would be rude and make a scene.
I really think that the man is just trying too hard to attract attention and would ignore him.
As a man I can't answer this question.
I am in the following age & gender bracket:
A girl: 0-18 years old.
A boy: 0-18 years old.
A woman: 19-30
A woman: 31-50
A woman: 51-70
A woman: 70+
A man: 19-30
A man: 31-50
A man: 51-70
A man: 71+
I don't identify with either gender.
If a man does wear a kilt in public they should be able to identify as:
Scottish
Irish
British
Gay
Straight
Bi-sexual
It doesn't matter his heritage, gender or orientation. He can wear a kilt regardless.
