Why do you wear skimpy clothes, when it's cold?

I noticed that there are some girls on this site who like to go out scantily clad even in cold weather (I do so myself). But I'm interested in why you are doing this, when you started and how you got into it.

I liked to shiver and to have chattering teeth.

Imagine you are on a trip with some friends. One friend of yours brought another friend you didn't know before. You're going out to explore the city and you planned on wearing a short skirt and a strappy top, nothing too daring, but certainly not appropriate for the weather, as the temperature is below freezing. That friend is wearing even less, say her skirt is shorter and her top skimpier in some way. You did bring even smaller clothes like a flimsy see-trough minidress with outrageous cutouts but you are hesitant to wear it because you’re going to be really freezing before long if you do. What do you do?
I don't wear less. Not because I care about freezing and my health, but I make my outfit choices independently of the other girls.
I don't wear less. After all, I want to have a nice day and you don't want to put my health at serious risk.
I wear less to outdo the other girl. I can't bear it when there is someone wearing less than I do and I don't care if I get sick.
It's a beautiful winter day and you decide to go for a walk in a nearby forest. You don't take anybody with you and it's very unlikely that you will meet other people because that forest is not much frequented. What do you wear?

As always, I only wear a bare minimum of clothes. I'm going to be really cold, but I like that, so I'm looking forward to be freezing.

It's a cold winter day and you and your friends are visiting a local city party that takes place outside in the park. You're only wearing a little sundress that doesn't cover much. On the way to the party you're already freezing, but some of your friends dare you to take off your dress and take a swim in the river, which is just above 0 C. What do you do?
Why would I take that dare? It's mad, I will probably get sick and it will ruin my night. My friends can't just dare me and I will do anything they want.
I'm not happy about that dare, but I don't want to chicken, either. I will be miserable the whole night and sick tomorrow, but I'm too proud to decline a dare. I will show them!
That's a great idea! I've just waited for an opportunity to show off to my friends. I will gladly take the swim, even though it will mean that I'm going to be extremely miserable the whole night and certainly sick tomorrow.
Assuming you took the dare and took a swim in the cold water: Your friends are shocked you actually did this and when you emerge from the river, one of them offers you his coat to dry yourself off, because they think they went far enough. What do you do?
Now I want to really shock them. Instead of accepting the coat I take my dress and put it in the water to get it all wet. Then I put it on again. Even though I'm already shivering like crazy, I have never felt so alive and proud of myself. I don't care that I put my health at serious risk.
I decide that I don't need their help and refuse to take the coat. Instead I just put my dress back on and with a proud smile hope to make it through the night.
I gladly accept the coat to dry myself off. I really showed them! I put my dress back on and look forward to the rest of the night. Maybe I won't get sick after all.
Your boyfriend loves your dressing style and he wants you to train your cold endurance. So he asks you to sleep in the buff without a blanket and with the windows open. What do you do?
I love challenges. I will do it, but not because my boyfriend asked me to. Everyone could have suggested it.
I love my boyfriend, but that's too extreme for me. I come up with some sort of compromise and hope that he will be happy with it.
I'm not a fan of the idea, but I will do it for my boyfriend.
That's ridiculous. Of course I won't do it.
