Ebola's first victim in the US

Ebola is an equal opportunity virus. It does not care if you are a Democrat or a Republican, black or white, male, female, young or old. Yet when Thomas Duncan died from Ebola, cries of racism permeated the internet. Some suggested that he did not receive any experimental drugs when in fact, Brincidofovir, was tried and unfortunately did not help. ZMapp is no longer available and there is no clinical proof that it saved the lives of those treated with it anyway., i.e., the Spanish priest treated with ZMapp did not survive. Considering that 9 out 10 victims die from Ebola, and do so shortly after the initial symptoms appear, Duncan's chances of survival were no better or worse than anyone else affected with the virus.
