Irreverent Weddings

More and more weddings are becoming non-traditional and downright irreverent. My wedding was and I loved it. I want to know what others' feelings are about this trend.

Have you attended or would you attend a wedding that you knew the reception or both the ceremony and reception would be non-traditional or irreverent?

Yes I have and I enjoyed it.

It was nude.

The wedding party wore costumes.

The bride was dressed in lingerie.

People jumped in a pool/lake at the end of the reception.

People jumped in a pool/lake at the beginning of the reception and changed right after.

People jumped in a pool/lake at the beginning of the reception and the whole thing turned into a formal dress pool party.

Cakes smashed into face.

Food fight.

Nude wedding.

The wedding party (and guests) in costume.

The bride wearing lingerie instead of a gown.

The bride, groom and whoever else wants to jumping in water at the end.

The bride, groom and whoever else wants to jumping in water at the beginning of the reception and changing immediately after.

The bride, groom and whoever else wants to jumping in water at the beginning of the reception and turning it into a pool party.

Cake smashed into face.
