If you were in a position at work that made you frequently unhappy or were to find a job and come to the sobering realization that you hate it - what do you think is the best course of action to take?
Remain in the job and try to tolerate it for as long as you can.
Remain in the job, but understand that you can leave whenever you feel like it.
Try and negotiate a department transfer with your employer so you could remain in the company, but have a new role and see how that goes.
Work there, but avidly look for a new job at the same time and then leave when you find one so you don't have to be unemployed.
Leave immediately, as it's not worth the stress and unhappiness or the potential damage on your physical or mental health.
