Physical exam experiences while growing up

By today's standards, there was less privacy for me whenever I got medical check-ups as a kid.
When I was 9, the school nurse had me strip, and I was clad only in my briefs. An older girl that worked with the nurse (late teens, maybe) walked in to ask the nurse a question, while I was in full view. Should she have covered me up before the girl came in?
Yes - she should have respected your privacy
No
Related to the same question as aboive -- my mom was present. Should my mom had said something about that?
Yes
No - it was not much of a big deal
When I was 11, I had an allergic reaction and my skin was covered in rashes. So I was taken to the doctor. Once again, I was made to take off my clothes and was laying on the exam table, in nothing but a pair of white briefs. The doctor didn't close the door, even though the clinic was pretty empty that night. Besides the doctor, a couple of nurses walked by, but no one else saw me. Should she have closed the door?
Yes - privacy should've been an issue
No - the place was empty
