Syrian Refugees

Despite the horrific events in Paris on Friday, November 13th, President Obama still plans on admitting over 10,000 Syrian refugees into our country. The FBI has admitted that they cannot thoroughly investigate so many people and even if it were possible to do so, many refugees will "fall through the cracks", that is not all nefarious activities are discovered or show up in FBI databases. The security measures and effectiveness of the FBI, Homeland Security, etc., are not foolproof. As we are just as vulnerable and a higher prize in the eyes of Jihadists, wouldn't it be prudent to reconsider taking in so many Syrian refugees especially the young single men. Additionally the financial burden of transporting and caring for so many refugees will ultimately fall on the shoulders of the American people in the form of higher taxes. Do you agree or disagree with the above?

President Obama's first priority should be the safety and well being of American citizens rather than any humanitarian effort. Do you agree or disagree?

President Obama insists that ISIS is contained. If containment includes shooting hundreds of innocent people, do you think Obama's definition of containment is somewhat "flawed"?

Do you feel that the Jihadists are at war with our culture and religious beliefs.

Do you think that their end game is total annihilation of Western civilization?

Additional terrorists were killed today in a confrontation with French police. The terrorists were living in a suburban neighborhood outside of Paris. In our country, another terrorist (thankfully apprehended) with ambitions of bombing Times Square was also living in a suburb in Connecticut. As potential terrorists attempt to "blend in" by moving into our communities, attending our universities and working here, do you feel comfortable knowing that in addition to "cells" already here, many more are on the way, including some with evil intentions and may become your "neighbors"?

We often hear the Liberal community tell us that we are a "nation of immigrants" to justify accepting thousands of non-citizens into our country for one reason or another. They fail to take into consideration that the greater influx of "these" former immigrants came to the United States legally and within a quota system. Are you tired of hearing this so called "justification" over and over again?

Along with the State Department, Defense Department, National Counter terrorism Center and the FBI, the Department of Homeland Security is part of the refugee processing. Over site reports of Homeland Security's overall effectiveness show numerous glaring faults: incompetence, corruption and disinterest. As it is part of the refugee vetting process, do you find the report alarming and a concern regarding the thoroughness of the Department?
