Training Diet

I eat too much junk, too much sugar, too much fat and too many processed foods. Because of this I am overweight and I feel lethargic and sometimes mildly depressed. I am planning to reboot with a program of positive lifestyle changes. As part of this I want to eat a special diet that will provide for my basic nutritional needs but not provide me with any pleasure. This is to encourage me to focus on my spiritual needs instead of indulging my physical urges. I hope it will make me rediscover the value of food and make me a better person overall.

Do you agree that a special 'low stimulus' diet may be helpful in improving my lifestyle and attitude?
