Dress code at dormitories

Hey, I go to private school where we must wear school uniform (shirt, tie, jacket). I support that and this year, we also have some informal dress code at dormitories. We just have to wear a long sleeved shirt and "nice" pants, as a member of student council, I should have some suggestions how to improve this dress code in next few months. What do you think? I'd like to have the dress code more strict, it improves behavior of some students... :)
