Modest Dressing?

I am a woman in her mid-20s, Korean who lives in America. I am not Muslim and am unsure if I will convert. However, I am considering whether I should dress modestly even if not just to make life easier for those around me. Any advice about to what severity and whether this is something to consider would Be appreciated!
