What should a male Maid of Honor wear in a wedding?

My girlfriend has chosen a boy to be her Maid of Honor. We think we want him to be dressed just like the rest of the girls in the bridal party but aren't sure if we should dare do this. He is the sweetest guy and actually quite feminine and would do anything we ask but we worry what some guests will think? Please offer your advice with your vote- THANKS!

We have narrowed our choices down to three basic outfits for our male Maid of Honor to wear in the wedding. Please vote as if you were considering this choice for your own wedding day and please be open minded and honest! Note that choice number 2 would be a specially handmade jumpsuit made of the same fabric as our gowns and detailed in a very feminine style as our gowns are. Please select one of the 3 choices>

1.Menswear tux color coordinated with our gowns

2.Jumpsuit made to match our gowns, feminine style

3. Gown identical to our gowns- extremely feminine

We (the girls) are all wearing a corset to create a terrific Victorian effect for the bridal party. Would we be asking too much to insist our male Maid of Honor also wear a matching corset? Please indicate your opinion>

1. No - don't dare even think about such a thing!

2. Maybe- this idea might be OK for the right guy

3. YES- he must wear a corset just like the girls

Please don't think we are being silly, but we also want your opinion on shoes. Our outfits include sexy black pumps with 3 inch plus heels to coordinate with our black and white gowns. Should we modify the heel height for our male Maid of Honor or dare we ask him to walk in our shoes for the day?

1.He should wear black men's shoes

2. He should wear low heeled matching pumps.

3. He should wear medium heeled matching pumps.

4. He should wear the same shoes as the girls

It is quite probable that we will decide to dress our gorgeous male Maid of Honor exactly like we are dressed and given his feminine features, we anticipate him looking like quite the attractive young lady. Many of the guests will not be aware that this sexy and beautiful Maid of Honor is actually a guy. Should we tell them or keep them guessing or?

1.Announce the truth at the START of the wedding.

2. Announce the truth at the END of the reception.

3. Let them figure it out IF THEY CAN?
