Please provide your beliefs on whether or not the need for a uniform election system outweighs states rights. Just a bit of information on the topic to help your decision:We are a unified nation, United we stand and Divided we fall. At the moment we have a system, which is not unified, this is why there has been three failures of the system. In these three failures the presidential candidate with the majority of electoral votes won over the candidate with the majority of popular votes, this shows that more voters voted for the losing candidate then the winning candidate, does this make sense? NO! The people are not getting the candidate that they wanted; the majority voted for one candidate and ended up with another, this against the core values of democracy.
