Theotokos, Theotokos!!!

In the fourth century, at the Council of Ephesus, Mary was acclaimed the Mother of God while the people outside shouted, "Theotokos! Theotokos!" (Theotokos being Greek for "God-bearer"). Most Catholics and Eastern Orthodox Christians continue to believe in Mary as literally the mother of God--due to the divine nature and personality of her Son, Jesus Christ--while most Protestants and other groups reject it.
Is Mary the mother of God?
Yes--She is the mother of Christ, who is both divine and human, so she is the Mother of God.
No--She only begot Jesus' human nature, so she is definitely not the Mother of God.
