Do parents have the right to create a deaf child?

recently I read an article in a magazine that told about a deaf lesbian couple who chose the sperm of a deaf man to create a deaf child. They now have a deaf son. Do you think that it si ethical or right to choose to give a child a dissability when they can be born without one.
