So, What's Up With "Romantic" Movies These Days...?

I noticed something interesting in another one of my polls, "What Makes A Movie 'Good' To You?" ( http://www.mrpoll.com/poll.mpl?id=3742662078 -- feel free to take that one, too!) People seemed to not want to say that they liked "Romance" as one of their favorite genres, but movies by Meg Ryan, Sandra Bullock, and Julia Roberts continue to sneak into theatres across the nation every year, proving that SOMEONE'S still watching "Romantic" movies. I wanted to see why people don't want to affiliate themselves with this genre and why, even if they do watch it...and that's where your honest votes will come in handy for me. Please enjoy yourself.
