I disagree. All three branches do things that affect the Constitution and the amendments (which btw are part of the Constitution and should be treated as such) as a part of their regular duties, not just the legislative branch. The president has the power to issue executive orders, and Congress has the power to pass legislation to override the executive order, just as the president can veto bills sent by Congress, and Congress can override the president's veto. Additionally, the Supreme Court has the final say on whether the actions of the president or Congress are constitutional. So this is more an issue of "checks and balances" rather than "separation of powers."

So, if the president performs an action that Congress doesn't like, there are measures in place to reverse it. This is opposed to a "crime" where something has happened which cannot be reversed, as we can't go back in time and change things. Therefore, the executive orders, while arguably politically motivated, are not "crimes" in the Constitutional sense, and thus not impeachable offenses.

I'm not saying I approve of everything, or even most everything, the president does. Just saying that you can't throw the president out of office for doing an end-run around Congress as long as they have the power to undo it, provided they have the desire and political clout to do so. And that puts the onus back on Congress in their exercise of separation of powers.

The Constitution says the president may be impeached for "high crimes and misdemeanors." I'm no fan of Obama or Obamacare either, but he shouldn't be impeached for it. He may have spearheaded the whole thing but ultimately it was Congress that wrote the law and passed it. If they had not, there would be no Obamacare. Maybe we should impeach Congress instead?

I'm one of those who thinks its just plain weird for a guy to wear girls jeans, and probably a lot of people feel that way. But you have to admit, and I know I'm one of them LOL, that it's a hypocritical way of thinking, because most people think that a girl wearing guys jeans is perfectly acceptable, even if they don't care much for it. And in fact, jeans started out many years ago as guys-only pants. So go figure, huh? :) Maybe that would be a good subject for a poll?

The medical fact is, it's normal for males to have ring fingers longer than index fingers. This bodily feature is caused by testosterone, and generally the more testosterone you have, the bigger the difference in size of these fingers. Females have little testosterone, so their index fingers are usually longer than their ring fingers. It has nothing at all to do with sexual orientation. In fact, comparing the sizes of these fingers is one method forensic analysts use to identify the sex of a dead body/skeleton which is so decomposed, the sex can't be determined by visual inspection of sexual organs. BTW I am female so did not vote in this poll, just wanted to set the record straight. :)

i'm a female and tried to take this poll but the questions that are only for men are required. they should be optional so us gals can skip them :)
