Should jockstraps be required for middle school basketball?

It a type of underwear that provides support for your testicles (balls) to prevent injury during sports. They usually have two straps in the back one that goes around each leg and exposes your buttocks since no support is needed there. Often at the beginning of Middle school PE, students are first told to wear these. For sports that involve a hard ball, or puck, such as baseball or hockey a cup is also worn which is a hard prtective device that usually slides into the front of the jock (the part which holds your package which is your testicles (balls) and p enis.
