If you get/did get corporal punishment at home what is/was the worst "implement" used as in paddle, strap, belt, tawse,strop, cane etc

Probably a good idea ... though even at three yrs of age I sure knew the difference between dad patting me on my head and him whacking me on my backside!!
And into the teens, the difference between me brushing my hair, and him using my hairbrush for 'correction'.
