I think you ought to be in footed pajamas regardless of the time of year. Maybe some bunny pjs too.

Even in the summer? ):
She wants me to wear the warmest pjs, so she wants me to wear stuff like nightgowns and onezies to bed. I'm like mom I'm old enough to choose my own pajamas.
My mom said its time to get the chilly weather pjs today too, so we're going to look around.

I agree with Chey. Nude with blankets is more comfortable and just as warm. If it's really cold when getting up, then have a thick robe near your bed.
