going barefoot in public

A poll for young guys about going barefoot in public. Even if you got here by accident, please respond. It is asked that only males who are under 25 respond. --Members of the Society for Barefoot Living are asked not to respond so that the poll will be a more scientifically accurate look at general public views.-- If you don't go barefoot, go ahead and respond anyway.--- PLEASE...if you are over 25 do NOT respond--we want this to be as accurate a look as possible at the habits and views of the younger generation.

He must be gay
He's so rich he can do as he likes.

If you have gone barefoot, and have gotten grey or black bottomed feet, and you need to put your sneakers on.....
I don't go barefoot.
Would wash with soap and water.
Would kick thru a puddle.
I would wear socks to protect my shoes.
I don't care--put my feet right on in.
If you go to a public pool, as soon as you get out, do you..
When I leave, I put shoes on.
I leave barefoot--put on shoes in an hour or so.
I leave in flip-flops always.
I leave barefoot, and go barefoot about my business.
Did you know that it is medically proven that putting on shoes right after swimming in a public pool is a prime way to get athletes foot.
That is obviously a good way to culture fungus.
I never knew that.
Thanks for telling me, I leave barefoot now.
I don't care-I will still wear shoes out.
Wish I knew this before my feet rotted off.
I always wondered.
Do you think a person going barefoot in a store has anything to do with their socio-economic status?
Rich people can do want they want.
Poor people dont know better or have no shoes.
It is mostly middle-class ordinary folks.
It has to do with them being a weirdo, not money.
It has to do with where they live.
It is a kid thing.
It seems to be either rich, or poor, but not middle class folks who go barefoot in public.
It means nothing--just that they like their feet bare.
Do you put your feet on the coffee table?
Only when Mom's not looking.
Bare feet only--no socks
Socks only-no bare feet.
soft shoes, socks, barefoot
Doesn't matter what I have on--they hit the table-but am very careful of it.
Mom doesn't allow feet on the table, and I obey the Queen.
I like my table too much for that.
We use our stuff-don't worry at all-let it scratch/dent--never worry
Socks or barefoot, no shoes.
We dont have a coffee table
We don't put our feet on the coffee table.
Treat it how I want, try to be careful, butnot worry much
If you go to someone's house, and, they ask you to remove your shoes...
They must be nuts--I go barefoot all the time.
I get mad.
I tell them forget it, and go right in, or leave.
I comply, but it is a hassle.
I am glad I can go barefoot.
When you are a guest in a house, do you put your feet on the coffee table...
No, even if they do.
If they put their feet up, I put mine right up.
I ask them if I can put my feet up since theirs are on the table.
I ask them if I can put my feet up, even if theirs are on the floor.
I assume it is all right, and just put my feet up, no matter how they sit.
I put my feet on the table only if invited.
During a great football game, do you kick your feet on the coffee table? (This is kick, not just put your feet on)
Never.
Always.
Sometimes, if the game is that good.
I want to, Mom won't let me.
We don't put our feet on the coffee table, much less kick it..
I have forgotten and kicked it once or twice.
I put my feet up on it, but don't kick the top.
If you are in college, do you go barefoot to class? (Go ahead and tell what you did if you graduated college)
Yeah I have in warm weather.
Always when whether permits.
Always do when I see some guy doing it first.
I have never gone barefoot to class, can't screw up the courage, though I want to.
I don't want to go to class barefoot.
I do not attend college.
I'd go to the library barefooted, no where else much though.
Do you think the law should be changed to guarantee you the right to go barefoot anywhere?
It is OK as is.
Going barefoot should be BANNED.
My right to going barefoot should be a law.
Were you aware there are real health benefits to going barefoot before you read this site?
No.
I read that--I do not believe it.
I think going barefoot is a hazard, no matter what they say.
Yes I knew there were health benefits.
Do you have a fetish about barefoot?
yes
no
sort of
not sure
Does the fact that you might be hassled for going barefoot in a store seem..
scary
annoyng
exciting
sexy
humiliating
impossible
like something you deserve for not being like everyone else
Do you put your feet up on: (Check all that apply)
The coffee table
desks
end tables
dining room tables
the sofa (only check if you put shoes on it)
dresser
do not put my feet on the furniture
The kitchen cabinet
The dashboard in the car.
The wall above your bed.
Which is MORE socially acceptable, in your opinion, and assuming the guy in question is young and attractive?
A guy in the mall barefooted.
A guy in the mall shirtless.
In public places, do you....
Keep shoes and shirt on always
Go barefoot sometimes, but not shirtless
Go shirtless sometimes, but not barefoot
Go barefoot and shirtless together sometimes
Often go barefoot, shirtless, or both often.
Wear shirt & shoes and no pants
Is it more, less, or about the same in terms of social acceptability for a young guy to go barefoot in public rather than an older guy?
Older guys more acceptable
Younger guys more acceptable
Neither--base it on attractiveness.
If it were legal, would you go nude out and about your business?
Oh YEAH!!
What? With all the machinery and stuff whirrin'out there!?!?!?!
Ya heard of the ozone and cancer bud?
I would wear clothes, but my girl would be nekkid ALWAYS!
I don't think that would be too pretty.
Actually, I HAVE gone a few places in my boxers!
If you saw more young guys, who were attractive and prosperous and normal in appearance, going barefoot in stores etc., would it affect your habits on going barefoot in public?
Not really--I do my own thing no matter.
Yeah--I'd go barefoot more--it'd be like being given permission.
I think if I saw most guys going barefoot I would stop wearing shoes.
I would still wear shoes in public even if most of the other guys were barefooted.
If I saw even two or three guys welcome barefoot in say, a bookstore, I'd almost certainly start going barefoot there too.
I am in college, and always go barefoot to class and the library, etc. I have noticed once guys see me getting away with it, a lot of others shed their shoes too. Knowing you can "blaze a trail" like that, will it affect your public barefooting?
No--I need to conform. Someone else must blaze the trail.
Regardless of what others do, I'd wear shoes.
If I had more nerve, I would like to be a barefoot trailblazer.
I'M DOIN' IT--I AM GONNA BLAZE THAT TRAIL TODAY!
If I saw just one guy in class, a store, the mall, McDonalds, etc, who was getting away with going barefoot, I would start going barefoot too.
In some cultures, showing the bottom of the foot is a serious breach. For instance, in Thailand it is almost illegal, esp. in temples. So when visiting you have to remember sometimes you can't put your feet up on the table. If you like to put your feet up on the furniture are you: (please skip if you do not put feet on furntiure such as coffee tables, etc.)

Do/Did you go barefoot in stores with your parents?
Yes my parents were fine with it.
I went barefoot in stores with them, but they did not like it.
I'd never go barefoot in a store with my parents, but I do it often with friends or by myself.
I don't go barefoot in stores regardless.
I tend to only go barefoot in stores when alone.
I usually only go barefoot in a store if I'm with a friend.
My parents often go barefoot in public so its no big deal to them.
A friend comes over to visit. Assume you often put your feet on the coffee table, but right now they are on the floor. When he walks in, his feet drop onto the table the minute he sits down. Even though you put your feet there, would you care for his being on the table?
Only my feet I want on my table.
I don't know why, but it would make me mad.
I want my friends to put their feet on the furniture and relax and be comfortable.
Imagine this scene: A tornado warning says a tornado is coming, and you are at a store. A teenage boy, blonde hair over the ears, wearing cutoff jeans and a Polo shirt, comes up to you. His feet are bare, and you can see that they are very black on the bottoms. He is so scared he is almost about to cry. He asks you for help--to take him to his house or yours to get him to shelter.
Let the kid die--anybody barefoot in a store should.
Let him die--shoes or not.
Take him, but be uncomfortable because his being barefooted makes you not trust him.
Take him, and you are more comfortable because you feel like his being barefooted means he's probably safe.
Try to tell him he is safe, and get to safety yourself, no matter what happens to him.
Take him home, tell him he's cute, and have your way with him.
Tell yourself somebody else can deal with him, even tho you are all that is around.
Almost everybody I know likes to put their feet on the coffee table. (If you don't put your feet up there, skip this question) If you had family and guests sitting around, all with their feet on the table, to get to your seat,
I'd tromp over everybody's legs trying to get seated.
I'd just not even try to sit there.
I'd crawl under the coffee table to get to the empty seat.
I'd ask everybody to take their feet off the table till I could get seated.
I'd just walk across the coffee table top to my seat.
I'd just sit on the coffee table.
When you see a well dressed young guy out, and he's barefooted with really black feet, do you think that his feet being black are:
really neat looking
totally cool
nasty
really sexy
a sign he's probably not very clean
don't think much about it one way or other
unpleasant, mildly, to look at
Ever danced on the coffee (or other) table?
Yeah--lots of times.
I do it all the time--by myself.
I use it as a stage to sing and stuff.
I have done a "Risky Business" Tom Cruise type in my underwear.
No, never tried it.
Yes, but just once.
I danced on something else, like couch.
Assume in a store/restaurant a teenage handsome blonde boy in jeans, a Polo shirt, nicely styled hair--and bare feet. Assume also that a 40 year old is there, also barefoot, wearing the same clothes, looking prosperous and clean, but overweight, and while not ugly, is not handsome. Be honest--say what you really think, NOT what is politcally correct.
I'd approve the guys equally.
I'd disapprove both guys equally.
The cute blonde boy is OK barefoot, the fat guy is not.
The fat middle-aged guy looks just as good barefooted as the cute blonde boy.
The boy should be allowed in, the old guy thrown out.
They both should be allowed in, but the older guy seems yucky barefooted, while it makes the cute kid cuter.
Do you go barefoot on dates?
Often
never
a few times
often to her house or casual places only
What is the kind of car YOU most dream of....
Cadillac (NOT SUV)
SUV of some kind
Lincoln
Lexus
Mercedes
Jaguar
Rolls-Royce
Ferrari
classic muscle car
