Starting my Own Iron Gym

Hi guys I owned a small gym in my house where I, my sons and some friends work out but now, I'm planning to invest a little money and decided to put up a small gym where the guys in the hood could workout for a little price. So I'll be needing an input from you. Please post in the messages section of you have anything to say or add. Thanks

I am planning to put up my own gym where a few friends can work out and maybe in the future the whole market of guys in the hood. First are you a guy or girl?

What would be the main basic free-weight equipment I should have in the gym?

Set of Dumbells (from a pair of 2.5 lbs to 50 lbs)

At least a bar (Ivanko or the standard stainless 45-lb steel)

Plates (from 2.5 to 50 lbs)

Squat Cage

At least a pair of 10 and 20 lb large rubberized plates for deadlifts, dynamic rows, etc

Kettle bells

Swiss Ball

Medicine Ball (4-lb)

Overhead bars

How about machine-based equipment that my gym should have?

Treadmill

Lat pull down machine

Rowing machine

Ab Machine

Pec dec machine

I'm on a tight budget so I'm not putting up an A/C. What good source of ventilation can I use as substitute?

Workout clothing. What gym clothing would you wish that guys should wear while working out?

A Shirt/Tank Top, Shorts, Rubber Shoes
