In the last decade the Republicans had the White House for 8 years, from 2001 to 2009 and the Congress for 6 years, from 2001 to 2007. The Democrats have had the White House for only 1-1/2 years, from 2009 to 2010 and the Congress for only 3-1/2 years, from 2007 to 2010. Did you know that the Republicans had control for that long, running up a huge deficit and actually being in power when the economic crisis hit?

The Repubs are against regulating Wall St (the main source of the crashing economy) and the Democrats, while wanting Wall St firms to be successful, still want some over seeing of Wall St, considering 1929 and the recent economic crisis. Do we need "police"?

If the Repubs gain power, at least the rich will be able to keep their billions, even if the rest are out of work. If the Dems keep power, maybe there is a chance of an economic recovery (created by the Repubs)...Which are you?
