Dress shirts without an undershirt

I try to convince all my colleagues at my office that wearing an undershirt under your dress shirt is a waste of money and unnecessary. I think going without an undershirt under my dress shirt feels relaxing, cool and free. I can't imagine having that bulky fabric under my dress shirt. Once I also had a wedding where I was one of the 5 groomsmen and the groom. Three of us including the groom wore our dress shirt without an undershirt while the two other groomsmen did and this sparked a whole debate about undershirts with dress shirts while we were getting dressed for the wedding.
