Obamacare Woes

Although Obamacare’s initial trial runs were not successful, the President forged ahead and launched what has turned out so far to be one of the largest bureaucratic bungles during his administration. The website’s “glitches” are many, and since its debut, October 1st, still have not been corrected. Apparently, due to the number and scope of the problems, the deadline for enrollment may be pushed ahead. With enrollment numbers very low, the question still remains who will ultimately pick up the tab for the subsidies and folks with pre-existing conditions? Should we brace ourselves for tax hikes to support this fiasco or pray that 7 million young and/or healthy Americans sign up? Sticker shock and high deductibles have taken most by surprise many of whom had initially supported the affordable care act. So far this “turkey” has cost the taxpayers over $500 million dollars, a figure that is sure to rise to fix the flaws in the weeks and months ahead. Have you stopped to think about what might happen to your private, confidential information in the hands of such an incompetent “bunch”!
