Great Filter theory is a possible explanation for Fermi paradox. It's saying that civilization will once destroy itself/evolution won't create a intelligent life/etc It means, that there WAS, EXIST RIGHT NOW, WILL BE civilizations similar to ours, but it will destroy itself(1st) There aren't many intelligent creatures in the universe, and humans are one of them(but are humans really intelligent?)(2nd) And etc. What is your idea of Great Filter?
