I am interested in your experiences. In my family it is common to spank the hands, sometimes in addition to the spanking on the bottom and / or the thighs, sometimes the hands are the only target. It depends on the offence and the situation. For example: poor performance regarding education always leads to a punishment given on the hands and the bottom, because those are the parts of my body need to learn (hitting the head would never happen, it is off-limits). I also got some light taps to my hands beeing a small child. Later I got a ruler or something similar to a belt. The third case they use(d) to spank on the hands is if non-family persons are present and a spanking is needed - for example because it is given for an offence that affects the guests. For a spanking of the bottom or thighs I always have and had to bare it. It is done in the living room, family may watch. But showing those parts to non-family (apart from the pre-teentime, when freinds were visiting) is against their rules regarding modesty.
