Hypothetical questions

This poll asks questions regarding our desires to change life and nature from what things are to what we'd prefer them to be.
1. If there was a way for you to no longer require sleep--your body's physiological requirement of sleep no longer existed and you were in a permanent state of being freshly rested--would you choose to give up sleep?
Yes--there is so much else I could do with that time.
No--I like sleep and dreams and would miss it.
Maybe--I'd try it only if I could undo this change.
My preferred response is not listed.
1-b. If you selected NO in the previous question, would you rather have the ability to choose whether or not you need sleep? If you want to stay awake for days/weeks/years on end without becoming tired you can, but if you lay down to take a nap you will be able to fall asleep like normal if you miss dreaming.
Yes--I said no previously but I'd like this option better.
Yes--I said "yes" previously but would like to change to this plan.
No--I still don't think this is a good idea; nature shouldn't be disrupted.
Maybe--I'm still not completely sold on the idea but would try it if it's reversible.
My preferred answer is not listed here.
2. If there was a way to eliminate the body's need to urinate, would you go for it?

Some other ability not listed.
6. If there was a way to eliminate the body's physiological need to breathe air (respiration through skin, for example), would you go for it?
Yes--it would come in handy when living in a high-smog area.
No--I like breathing and wouldn't want to give it up.
Maybe--as long as I still could breathe and smell things when I chose to.

7. If there was a brain implant available that let you connect a computer and the internet directly to your brain so you saw it in your mind and controlled it by thought--including the transfer of imagination or memory to picture, sound, or movie files--and could even do computer things subconsciously while sleeping, would you get that implant?
