Sorry buddy, for the misunderstanding. I should have worded it better. Yeah, it's supposed to mean, "Which of these activities are considered murder?" You did do it the right way.

I have heard it's been said, "If you don't vote, you have no right to complain."

But here's the problem: I vote, but nothing ever changes, anyway. It's like every four years, we have the same story--same circus, different clowns!

So what I'm wondering is, what's the point? Why even bother at all? It's not like we have a voice anymore!

The death penalty should be abolished because..."Two wrongs don't make a right." The State should not be killing people who kill people to show that killing is wrong. Where is the logic in that? Besides, it doesn't bring the person back or relieve the family's grieving. I am in favor of rehabilitation, instead...even if I have to pay extra taxes to support it.

Abortion should be legal ONLY in the case of rape or incest and the mother is emotionally and financially unable to raise it. (Notice I did not say "unwilling"...in which case, she should offer it for adoption.) Or if the mother's or baby's life is in danger. Or if the baby is going to out so deformed/disabled/damaged, that he or she will not be able to have a happy and productive life. You see, I'm a big supporter of the 'quality-of-life' argument.

There's one more thing; I believe you forgot one: I would have liked to see you include a question about gun control vs gun owner's rights.

Sorry for 'mouthing off', but sometimes I'm a bit opinionated and outspoken. I was just putting my two cents in.

Posted in which is the best horror movie? on 2012-06-25 19:28:41

I saw "Rosemary's Baby" a long time ago. It's regarded as a classic, but...

I personally do not believe it qualifies as a true horror film, at least by today's standards. So-called horror pictures of today's era are too often 'slasher movies'--filled with blood and killing and stuff. You wouldn't have been able to show such graphic images in the 1960's, which is when Rosemary's Baby first appeared. That show, in my opinion, was actually more in line with the suspense genre, such as something from Alfred Hitch$%!@.

What do you think? Do you folks agree with me?
