I lived with a relative for about a year when I was 16. I got caught sneaking in at 2:00 a.m. once and though I as expecting a lecture when he yanked me out of bed, he pulled the wooden chair out of the corner and ordered to bend over it. I had never known what the chair was for before that night. I flat out refused to do it.

He didn't argue with because his kids were asleep nearby and he didn't want to wake them up. He told me to hold out my hands palms up and he would "convince" me to comply. Didn't know what he had in mind,so like a $%!@y fool I did it and nearly $%!@ed myself when the same riding crop he planned to tan my hide with land across my palms. I yelped and cursed,but he told me to shut up and hold my hands out again unless I was ready to bend over the chair. Being stupid I held my hands back out and got the same burning shock.

My hands had angry looking ridges and I was on the verge of tears,but not yet ready to bend over the chair.

I took 2 more lashes across my palms before I finally broke down and gave in and bent over that chair.

Next time I got in trouble and was ordered over that chair I didn't resist or hesitate!
