So I am not about to use them as swim trunks. They do not seem like shorts you wear around in the summer- they have the shiny nylon look of swim wear and the pull strings at the waist. I support the "no make-up and jewellery" rule if not school uniform. Many teenaged girls have no sense of decorum and will look like prostitutes given the opportunity.

========== In Reply To ========== I am 15. in my school we have to wear a mauroon v-neck jumper. We have a choice of a pink or yellow short or long sleeved peter pan blouse. We have wear heavy mauroon knee socks in the winter, and light pink knee-socks from may-sept. We have to wear mauroon black or navy saddle shoes, and the option of a mauroon sweater. I hate the scool uniform, but what i hate more is that we can't wear makeup or jewelry. It is terrible
