Firstly, i am from england and england does not attack northern ireland. (northern ireland is different to the republic of ireland) Northern Ireland extermeist groups have set off bombs in London a few years back, and we didnt respond with any force. ( Police patrolling the streets is about it.)

Secondly, Saddam hussain is NOT elected by the iraqi people. He is a dictator, and like all dictators came to power by overthrowing the current government. Saddam dosent allow elections so there is no-one to oppose him. If people do oppose him they are imprisoned or executed.
