Best book in the "Flashman" excellent series of novels..

I guess you must be a real fan of this character, since you name most of the medals he's been awarded. Flashman is a good way of getting kids interested in 19th century history, as well as being an amusing character. His partaking in the "Charge of the Light Brigade" whilst suffering from a bout of chronic flatulence is one of the best sequences I've ever read. G.M. Fraser was a great writer and it's a real shame we won't have any more of his novels, now he's died. R.I.P. you'll be missed.

Hey, calm down dude! The episode you refer to is meant to be comedy, not how we see the Brits. I've met a few British people and none of them lived up to the stereotypes you mention. And none of them thought that we were all cowboys or obsessed with money.
