Wow Laurie, that is insulting. Maybe that is how it was before the 1960's but I don't know many women who actually behave so tender and nurturing. The gender roles have become mixed and anyone can do anything. I don't agree with any kind of draft for combat, as killing would be an extremely difficult thing to do, but to suggest that men are more capable and expendable is sad. I hope you don't have any sons who feel your hatred towards men

So you are saying that a parent should be ok with sending their son off to war, but their daughter going to war is outrageous. It seems that the female argument is based on self ritousness

With the available technology, I think every adult should be scanned. Limiting the full body scan based on sex, race and age will result in discrimination claims and anyone cn be potential terrorist, or be manipulated by a potential terrorist. Some might say it is an invasion of privacy, but it is your choice to not fly. I understand many people are modest and don't want strangers to see them naked, but they aren't actually naked. It is far from being stripped and probed by a stranger. The pictures would only be viewed once and for the purpose of safety.
