A newly conceived/created embryo has the same actualizing form of humanity as a full grown adult. It is just that the form is in the process of actualizing itself. Biologically, it is a fact that human beings are human beings from the moment of conception, just as fish are fish from the moment of conception (when the sperm fertilizes the egg). At that moment, a new organism is created that has a unified structure and has the goal of developing into a fully matured, adult living organism.
Embryonic stem cell research that involves killing human embryos is murder and it is morally wrong. It should not be legal. An embryo is not a clump of cells, but it is a living, human organism.
