Hi Zilberj,

Why did you started wearing your first chain so late at 17?

Hi t@a1,

sorry for my late answer.

I have never worn any jewelry. When I was a teenager and an university student, a lot of my schoolmates wore a neckchain. Usually silver, sometimes gold. In those days it seemed to me to be not very nice. When I graduated and started my first job, I had a colleague who wore two gold chains. He probably never took them off. We cooperated closely and I started to think, that it is not to bad. I changed my job several times and met more colleagues wearing gold chains. About five years ago I started thinking about starting wearing some chain myself. I was looking for some experience in the Internet and I found Misterpoll. It was the time I was discussing with Jakkes and founded my own poll. I thought that single chain is little bit ordinary and I was thinking about combination of two. My plan was to start with one chain of middle ticknes. It should have been short to be worn tick around my neck and to be visible in an open collar. If it would have be OK, i planned to buy the second chain. I was thinking about 60cm long thin chain with pendant to be easily worn over my shirt.

I was near doing it, but I have never done it. Gold become much more expensive than it used to be. And nowadays guys with gold chains are little bit exotic in my country (the Czech Republic).

I recently turned to my 40s and now I think that I will never wear any jewelry.

BTW: Where are you from?

Hi t@a1.

Nice story too.

How old are you? How old were you, when started wearing your chains? How old is your friend? How old was he, when he started wearing his chains? Are you thinking about wearing more jewelry (bracelets, rings,...)?

Hi Jakkes, nice story. I have never worn any jewelry, but I am thinking about starting.

I agree with you, that one chain is little bit ordinary and multiple chains look much more interesting. But multiple chains look stupid, if they are tangled.

So I have a question: What is your experience with tangling of your chains? Do you have any advice how to prevent them against tangling? How long are your chains? Do you wear any pendants on them?
