I read that the PDQ Drink Mixes were made by Ovaltine Products. And that they were last made in 1995 or 1996. Ovaltine is distributed by Himmel Nutrition Inc. The label on the Ovaltine containers list an address to write to and an 800 number to call. Write or call Himmel Nutrition to tell them you want PDQ back. Address is: Himmel Nutrition Inc., P. O. Box 5329, Lake Worth, FL 33466-5329 or call 1-800-442-0099 between 9AM and 5PM EST with questions and comments.

They also have a website www.ovaltineusa.com where you can also fill out a questionnaire to give your thoughts on other Ovaltine products.

That's great that you got to try the Benco Mix. It's a shame it can't be purchased here in the U. S. Maybe Ovaltine will eventually bring back the real stuff: PDQ!

I found a message at this link: http://www.inthe00s.com/archive/wanted/1073842132.shtml. A guy was talking about drinking a drink in France called Benco Instant Choco Drink. He said it had crystal-like beads like PDQ and it tasted very similar. I found a website: http://www.kings-holland-food.com in which this chocolate drink mix is listed. They have a whole list of Instant Choco Drink Mixes for water or milk. I emailed them about purchasing some but never heard back. It had listed when contacting them whether you are a wholesaler, producer, packaging company, or distributor. I am none of those so I guess you can't purchase the product as just a customer. Just figured I would pass this info along in case there is a company out there that might be interested in this. That way some of us PDQ chocolate drinkers might have a way to purchase a similar drink.
