The deterministic nature of this universe is overcome by spirit in connexion with divinity - to some degree - but not completely. In a second a person becomes renewed with divinity - their first life in eternity - their rebirth. The eternal and immediate moment. This ensures the process of completion and reneges the eternity of blasphemy of the Holy Spirit - but only for those who entered in truth to it - that is a pact with Christ, with God and the Holy Ghost. The Gospels are a synergy, as are the following Epistles & the Book of Revelation.

The flow of society is somewhat deterministic in appearance - escalating relative to the societal format's population. The functionality is a feminine core whose outside is allowed to determine and create a masculine structure or common interface somewhat alien to the initial gender or engendering ideal.

How much one's expectations are met are - I suspect - a matter of effort and/or chance. I'm not certain this is very relative to fate - since effort tends to overcome randomicity especially along specified or tested paths.

The question is also whether fate sides with an effort or quest. And the question is - why? Generally speaking, the general flow of habitat and population determines success. There is a delusion of domination within the business world. In life it's an amalgamation of nature and people's decisions within their realm of being.

Fate may determine a brighter or worse future - reminiscent of the influence of a higher order of consciousness. Or perhaps a more complex functionality such as artificial formulaic contrivances - but that may be secondary.

Divine purpose, divine reasoning is difficult to proscribe. After all, you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink. How much can a horse know, how easy is it to make it understand?

The chthonic influence of the universe is also troubling. Would Fortuna intervene? Do the gods do nothing but allow this scientific mess to continue? Giving humanity penchant for treachery, lies, etc. they are not a race conducive to godliness, prophecy, holiness or anything else. They are a failed species in the long throws of their surrender to hopeless demise beneath the faults of ancient condemnatory structures. For example - war, government, economy, needless guile, disdain for temperance, arrogance and the lack or loss of a capable basic interface amongst themselves.

The earth is world of a more or less a failed and pointless continuance. As such it would take a major miracle to make any project of the gods worth anything. They appear generally doomed to failure and eternal contamination - it's the nature of the earth.

If this universe is bound by neutralizing laws of magic - then the gods need forsake this realm perhaps almost completely. If magic isn't possible aside from mental connexion (the Spirit of the Universe - the Light of Existence) which is strongly tied to our subconscious (despite various films efforts to increase relative celerity of some)... I've lost my train of thought.

Hard to tell from the vantage point of a mortal coil on a mad world in a dangerous universe. Still, I believe other universes exist. It makes more sense than they do not.

Posted in What Do You Consider Child Abuse? on 2024-01-06 21:08:43

Children ought never be abused, but it's understood they might be rebuked according to the seriousness of the situation. People are people. I feel sad and angry I was abused a number of times in my youth.

Isn't it obvious what child abuse is? The welfare of the child ought to be important. It's maltreatment. People don't truly need trauma - but they may believe otherwise. To traumatize a child is an act of great evil. They ought not be hurt at all if possible. Sooner or later, they will.

It's better to treat children benevolently. It's an extraordinary level of depravity that this planet suffers from child abuse.

I've never seen much indication of magic - certainly nothing obvious.

Yes. If one was immortal, they could have better control over their own situation. The problem being this planet isn't filled with honest, considerate or sociable people. I don't think what passes for social behaviour on this planet is truly adequate. Without an adequate amount of integrity, I don't think immortality is possible.

There are a lot of great NES games. Also, some wonderful SNES games and some splendid PlayStation 1 games. I've played a lot of games over the years but not that many.
