You asked for other reasons why Athiests promote their view.
I believe that the insidious brain virus of "DOGMA", is passed from generation to generation and planted by most religions, It corrumpts minds, particually young and gullible ones.
By promoting Dogma as an acceptable form of "Reasoning", it has, and still does, hold back mankind. This I believe is Wrong and evil.
Dogma, by deffinition, is unreasonable.In short, another answer you might list is: A. To heal the sickness of dogma through reasoning. :-)

I liked your poll. One point though,I think in America, "Liberal" is the equivalent of our "Labour" party in Australia. Our Liberal party is generally seen to be right wing and favouring business in Australia. Labour is seen more as a working man's party with more social support such as healthcare and puplic transport etc... So your results may be be misleading.

This is an interseting poll. Although most people will elect the country in which they reside as their favorite, it stands to reason that countries which are viewed favorably by most will receive votes in the second category.
All that's missing is a category where we can vote on the country in which we oppose. For political reasons, I would list France, Iran, Syria, Russia, North Korea, and Germany. For Human Rights reasons, I would add countries like Zimbabwe, Cuba, etc.
It is unfortuneate that we tend to list the stronger countries or the places in which we think of as beautiful countries, as our favorites. It would be my hope that one day we will list the countries that we would most like to give help or aid to that we would think of. It is a sad reality that there are some very poor countries on this list that can not be represented here due to the poverty levels of those who reside there.
As strong nations we must never forget our obligations to the people who are less fortunate in the world.
