I'm 21, jockstraps weren't required for gym class in middle or high school. I was 12 or 13 when I started wearing my cup in a jockstrap for baseball, it fit better that way than the pouch of my sliding shorts. I started wearing a plain jock for workouts and sports other than baseball when I was 15, when someone I knew told me it was a sign that I was willing to do things.

I'm 16, I still wear tighty whities. I just like them, I don't like how the legs of boxer briefs rub together, and boxers are just too baggy and always bunching up under my pants.
